Our Philosophy
How do I make what I love a living?
Growing up, I watched my mom build a business from the ground up. My parents encouraged me to explore, take risks, and follow what genuinely inspired me, and that freedom shaped everything about the way I see the world. It taught me that success means very little if your life doesn’t actually feel like you.
So for a long time, I searched for what that meant for me and I found pieces of it in many places — in movement, in travel, in long dinners with good wine and even better conversation but the common thread was always the same: connection.
Yoga became the thing that brought me back to myself. In a world where everything competes for our attention, yoga reminds me to return to the world beneath my feet. It was never about mastering poses or performing flexibility to me. It’s about stillness, breathing deeper, and slowing down enough to actually experience where you are and who you’re with.
Wine gave me a different kind of appreciation. Not just for what’s in the glass, but for the people and places behind it. The wineries I partner with are never random. I’m drawn to places built with intention — people who care deeply about hospitality, craftsmanship, connection, and creating experiences that make people feel something. The kind of places where conversation matters more than a sales pitch and where the wine speaks for itself.
Travel changed everything for me too. Since my first trip to Ireland at 16, I realized how easy it is to stay inside our routines without ever questioning them. Since then, I’ve believed that everyone deserves experiences that pull them out of the familiar for a moment — experiences that make them slow down, stay curious, connect with new people, and see life a little differently.
That’s why I created Vino Vinyasa.
Not just to host yoga classes, drink wine, or plan beautiful retreats, but to create experiences that make people feel alive again. I want you to leave a class, dinner, event, or retreat feeling lighter, more connected, more inspired, and more present. I want you to meet people you never would’ve crossed paths with otherwise. I want you to experience beautiful places differently and romanticize your life a little more, because life moves so fast and I think we all deserve moments that remind us to slow down and actually live it.
Building Vino Vinyasa has honestly been one of the scariest things I’ve ever done because it’s not just a business to me, it’s something I care about really deeply. When you build something that’s this personal, you’re kind of putting a piece of yourself out into the world and hoping people connect with it too.
So to all the people who have already been to an event or retreat, sat with me over coffee, reposted a gathering, shared advice about business or strategy, sent an encouraging message, or supported Vino Vinyasa in any way — thank you form the bottom of my heart.
I’ve never been someone who asks for help easily, but building this has taught me how important community really is. For the first time in my life, I allowed myself to ask questions, lean on other people, and learn as I go. And honestly, I don’t think Vino Vinyasa would exist without that — without you.
Let Vino Vinyasa be proof that the things we love most in life are meant to be shared.
